A rap about the effects of global warming.
Director's Notes:
Team Radical Rappers had only this to say about their film:
A rap that explains the effects of Global Warming, and how to reduce impact.
The film was made by seven students, aged between 11 and 14.
Winner: Best Earth Science & Environment Film, 2010
SciCast Notes:
Is this the closest SciCast has come to Glee?
I think it is — we’ve had songs before, and group performances, but not really the two together. Better still: every shot is inventive, with something happening in each that’s surprising or funny or clever, and the rap is clear and carries a real message. Apparently the words were written as a homework assignment, and the film followed. However it was made, the care and attention to detail show, and the team’s efforts paid off with a category win. Congratulations!
