How levers work, and how they can help you fix a puncture.

Director's Notes:

The Lever Beavers write:

We as a group did not understand levers when we were younger. This year, the year after our exams, we thought it was a good idea to enhance our knowledge of levers. We decided that since we use levers every day and don’t realise it, we felt it was a good subject for our film. We also wanted to help younger students understand the concept of levers better.

SciCast Notes:

This is great! The opening scene is wonderfully done — good characters, nicely shot, excellent reveal of the lever. The explanation’s pretty good too.

The only thing letting the film down is technical quality. It’s rather grainy, and the sound is pretty bad. A crying shame, since lots of care and thought went into this, but it’s still a great effort.
