Professors Charles and Boyle are on hand to explain why fizzy drinks can be problematic

Director's Notes:

Some people have trouble when heating their fizzy drinks, but don’t worry, Professors Charles & Boyle blast in from the past to help! We took the idea from ‘the gas laws’ in higher physics.

SciCast Notes:

I like this developing style of SciCast films being fairly straightforward at heart… but then heading off on some weird random tangent that makes almost no sense to anyone, but is strangely amusing.

So, there’s lots in here. An implausible premise (warm Sprite is so popular), an excuse to play with a miniature hovercraft, sterling work with the fake moustaches, some fresh-from-the-wrapper lab coat action, and a comedy baguette. Excellent.

There’s a bit of gas law physics in there too, I should think. I may have to watch the film again to check.
