Photosynthesis in nature, theory and the lab.
Director's Notes:
A short lively film explaining the process of photosynthesis and how we can prove it takes place. Original and upbeat. Source: AQA Biology textbook.
Nominee: Best Biology Film, 2011
SciCast Notes:
I love the style of this, but I can’t begin to say how much I want to see bubbles from the (wonderfully-explained, beautifully-lit) plant-in-a-conical-flask experiment! I can glimpse what might be bubbles, but it’s not entirely clear that the team’s experiment worked.
Great film, and so so close to being a stupendous one. Am I being too harsh on it?
