Energy: types, converting, and using it to run around fields.
Director's Notes:
A video about the laws of energy transfers. We decided to do it outside as it worked much better. We wanted to make it amusing and we had a really good time making it. The ideas came from a physics lesson and we thought it would be a good one to do. The filming was fine, although the quality isn’t amazing because we only had a digital camera on video mode as we didn’t have a proper video camera. We submitted a film last year, and wanted to make this one even better. :)
Nominee: Best Presentation, 2011
SciCast Notes:
You know, that probably was Newton’s reaction to an apple bopping him on the head.
Very sophisticated film, this. It cracks through a bunch of material with some nice techniques (I love the echo on ‘Sound!’) and has a proper ending. Great work.
