Crime does not pay. Particularly when there’s a forensic science lab at the other end of the room.
Director's Notes:
A person was poisoned by a fellow collegue. The police investigated the scene of the crime by looking at the acidity and alkalinity of the tea she drank and along with finger print evidence was able to get the perpetraitor.
SciCast Notes:
You know, I can’t help thinking that if every crime scene had a forensics lab at the far side of the room, things would be an awful lot easier for the police. Crime dramas would benefit too, as there wouldn’t be any of that nonsense about ‘sending things to the lab’ and having the journey take anything between five hours and five seconds, depending on the whim of the writer.
As we’ve seen in this film, that helps keep the pace up: crime committed, investigated, and solved inside two minutes. Blimey. If CSI:Merthyr was this quick, I might be tempted to watch it.
