Region:

An introduction to circular motion and centripetal forces.

Director's Notes:

The team didn’t tell us much about this film or themselves, other than to note that there were four of them, all in year 8, and that the film’s all their own work.

SciCast Notes:

There’s a lot to squeeze in, isn’t there? Getting through this much information in the time we allow is difficult, and this team should be heartily commended for keeping things more-or-less together. They’ve been ambitious, and they’ve pulled it off — no mean feat. OK, so it runs away with them a bit towards the end, but they get away with it partly because they deliver their lines clearly. It’s amazing what a difference clear sound makes. The camerawork helps, too, in that it’s simple but effective. It’s obviously hand-held, but steady enough not to distract.

Nicely done all round, then.
