One banana, a Christmas holiday, and a camera taking pictures every hour. Ew!
Director's Notes:
Timelapse movie of fruit rotting over the Christmas vacation 2010.
SciCast Notes:
Oooh! I’ve been hoping somebody would do this for five years — five years, people! — and now they have. Terrific!
It’s no mean feat to set this sort of thing up with stable lighting, a camera that’s mounted rigidly so it doesn’t slowly fall over, and some sort of power connection to the camera so it stays the course.
Great work by this team, then, who’ve pulled off a very technical shoot. Inevitably it stops just as things start to look really gruesome, but perhaps that’s for the best anyway.
