A field report on rock pools, and the range of creatures living in them.
Director's Notes:
My film is an investigation of life in a rock pool where the water is changed twice a day. Many plants and animals, like seaweeds and barnacles need a firm surface to fix onto. Others need shelter of the seaweed to avoid drying out at low tide. Some need to stay underwater for the whole time to survive. All of this happens everyday in the rock pool and l have tried to explain how the creatures are adapted to these conditions.
