Both the video and song were created by us and used revision guides such as CGP and the AQA text books in school. Our subject was particularly based on photosynthesis and looked at in detail including things such as how people are growing plants today hydroponics etc…

The best way of getting around all the difficulties of finding usable music? Make your own.
Lots of SciCasters do that, but not many of you write songs. Perhaps we should be encouraging you to do so, however, if the results are going to be as good as this.
Excellent stuff, this; very clever ideas to illustrate the different lines, good use of animated text, and some nice compositing of multiple clips. It’s easy to overdo the video trickery, but this uses it carefully, and to positive effect.
